Dear John,

Guided by our history and values, HIAS works day in and day out to provide legal
protection for asylum seekers. In offices along both sides of the U.S. border,
and throughout Latin America, our staff are dedicated to providing critical
legal services and “know your rights” training for the people who need them
most. We also work closely with government officials and local communities to
make sure that the rights of asylum seekers are respected and protected.

This work is vital in helping those fleeing violence and persecution build new
lives in safety and freedom – and none of it is possible without the generous
support of people like you. That’s why we’re counting on you to give
$18 or more before midnight on Dec. 31 to make sure we hit
our $200,000 year-end goal to fuel our life-changing work in 2020.

Please, make a year-end gift of $18 or more right now to
help HIAS continue providing legal assistance and other critical services to
asylum seekers escaping violence and danger in their homelands.

For all of us at HIAS, the core of our mission is respect for the dignity and
humanity of every person who is forced to flee – and that’s what guides every
aspect of our work. We recognize the bravery and resilience of each individual
seeking our support.

But we need your help to continue making our crucial work possible as we head
into 2020: Click here to make a year-end donation of $18 or more
right now to support refugees and asylum seekers with warmth, care and
commitment in their most urgent moments of need.

Thank you for everything you do to help us change the lives of refugees and
asylum seekers. It means so much to so many.
