This isn't the news we were hoping to share today, but you need to know the latest forecast of this race. 

FiveThirtyEight just posted their most recent 2022 election forecast, and it shows Ron Johnson favored to win Wisconsin's Senate race.

Unseating an incumbent senator who is funded by corporate PACs and billionaire donors was never going to be an easy task. So today Mandela needs a LOT of donations to show that we have the grassroots momentum and the financial resources to flip this seat. 

That's why we need to ask:

FiveThirtyEight's election forecast model relies on multiple sources of data, including polling, fundraising, voting patterns during previous elections, and race ratings from election experts. 

The most recent CBS poll has Mandela trailing Ron Johnson by one point, and another poll released just two weeks ago showed them tied. Election experts have rated Wisconsin a toss-up, which means this is the best opportunity for Democrats to unseat a Republican incumbent.

While the polls show this race in a dead heat, Ron Johnson has a significant fundraising advantage. As of a previous FEC report, he had out-raised Mandela by millions of dollars. And Republican outside spending groups are seriously outpacing Democrats in Wisconsin. 

With the attack ads ramping up considerably, Mandela really needs your help to have the resources to respond and get his message out to voters. Especially right now. Because it is going to take a LOT of grassroots donations in order to win this race.
