FiveThirtyEight just posted their most recent 2022 election forecast, and it shows Ron Johnson favored to win Wisconsin's Senate race.

FiveThirtyEight's election forecast model relies on multiple sources of data, including polling, fundraising, voting patterns during previous elections, and race ratings from election experts.

The most recent CBS poll has Mandela trailing Ron Johnson by one point, and another poll released just a few weeks ago showed them tied. Election experts have rated Wisconsin a toss-up, which means this is the best opportunity for Democrats to unseat a Republican incumbent.

While the polls show this race in a dead heat, Ron Johnson has a significant fundraising advantage. As of a previous FEC report, he had out-raised Mandela by millions of dollars. And Republican outside spending groups are seriously outpacing Democrats in Wisconsin.
