When Brett Kavanaugh was nominated to the Supreme Court, a piece in the
Washington Post declared Roe v. Wade "likely dead.”^1

It didn’t take long before states rushed to pass bans on abortion with the
explicit intention of getting a case in front of the new anti-choice

first abortion case since Kavanaugh joined the bench — a case challenging
a Louisiana law that is identical to a Texas law struck down by the
Supreme Court in 2016.^2

v. Gee, a case that could allow states to effectively ban abortion by
shutting down clinics.

Act, a bill in Congress to ensure that abortion rights and access are
protected from all sorts of anti-choice restrictions. We also need to keep
