** Hello Family, Friends, and Neighbors!

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

With Christmas coming up and the year coming to an end, I wanted to share with you some of my reflections from the past twelve months. What a year it was!

We began with a very productive legislative session. It is an honor and a privilege whenever I can help secure funding and support for farmers, ranchers, and rural Coloradans. This year we got $10 million extra for the water plan and additional support for high-tech equipment for our family farms.

There’s so much more to be done in legislative session starting January 8^th, 2020. From protecting our water rights to improving our roads to supporting our schools, this year’s session will be very important. I’m reminded of this every day when I drive on our roads and visit our rural schools. We’ve got to make sure those folks in Denver don’t forget about us and our rights!

As Christmas gets closer, I am reminded of the importance of family and community. Fighting for my community is what drives my public service, and having a loving family to celebrate the holidays with makes it all worthwhile.
