Louisiana received a D+ grade on our infrastructure report card from the White House earlier this year, and I am disappointed to say I am not surprised.

Louisiana has 1,600 structurally deficient bridges and enough bad roads to stretch to Canada and back. So what is Senator Kennedy doing to fix this problem? Nothing.

The senator was willing to spend billions to build up Iraq and Afghanistan, but he calls bipartisan funding for infrastructure in Louisiana “wasteful spending” and “stupid stuff.”
