Friend, enough is enough.

Yesterday, the House voted to censure Republican Rep. Paul Gosar and remove him from his committee assignments.

Rep. Gosar — who served on the Oversight Committee with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez — tweeted a violent video depicting him killing Rep. Ocasio-Cortez and stabbing President Biden.

Yesterday, Mondaire took to the House floor to demand Gosar be held accountable. In a speech that went viral, Mondaire declared: “We cannot let the Republican Party make Congress the only workplace in America where violence against your coworkers is not a crime, but a credential.” [[link removed]]

The GOP is determined to play partisan politics and turn a blind eye to the egregious acts of right-wing violence in our country — like this behavior by Rep. Gosar and those who played a role in the January 6 attacks. We cannot continue to tolerate this kind of vitriol and violence in our politics.

Mondaire ran for office to stand up for what’s right, but he can’t do it alone.
