Last Friday, my piece outlining my plan for the security of our elections was featured in the Boston Globe. [[link removed]] I wanted to make sure you saw it, because it's just too important of an issue to ignore.
Here's the most pressing issue regarding our election security:
We don't have one voting system in America. We don't have ten. There are FIFTY-SIX separate voting systems in America used by 235,000,000 people. Different laws, different standards, and different levels of funding. And cyberdefenses are rarely a priority.
This is the face of 21st Century information warfare. This is how they will try to take down our democracy.
This antiquated system must be reformed. And when I get to Congress, I'll make sure it does.
