Last week, Texas implemented heinous new abortion restrictions, effectively overturning Roe v. Wade. Since then, the Supreme Court has refused to act, allowing this unconstitutional ban to remain in place.
Folks from across the country have come together to speak out, donate to reproductive justice organizations, and call their elected officials. However, there is one powerful group that could tip the scales in our favor: corporations. [[link removed]]
Companies like Dell and Coca-Cola, two of Texas’ biggest employers, have spoken up in the past to oppose attacks on our environment and voting rights, to name a few. Now, they’re silent. This is not a time for business calculations: Texans’ lives and freedoms are on the line. [[link removed]]
