Abortion is still legal in Texas, but if we don’t fight like hell to keep it that way, [[link removed]] we could be living in the future that anti-choice extremists want : A future where abortion is banned before many people even know they’re pregnant. A future where anyone — from a controlling ex-boyfriend or nosy neighbor to a complete stranger — is empowered and even incentivized by OUR government to act as vigilantes enforcing abortion bans.

Texans are taking bold steps to fight for reproductive freedom — and we need you to be one of them. [[link removed]] Last week, Democrats in the Texas statehouse staged a walkout — keeping the legislature from advancing a slew of attacks on our fundamental freedoms, from a bill that would further restrict access to medication abortion care to laws that would make it harder to vote. And the fight’s not even close to being over.
