The year is almost over, John — but we’re still $30,127 short of our critical year-end goal for refugees and
asylum seekers. Match opportunities like this don’t come along often, so we’re counting on you to rush your first donation and have every dollar DOUBLED
for refugees before this match expires.

2020 has been especially difficult for refugees and asylum seekers. Many have
faced homelessness, unemployment, and lack of medical care as the pandemic
worsens. With thousands of displaced individuals unable to access the food,
clean water, and resources they urgently need, our work for refugees remains
vitally important.
As COVID-19 cases continue to rise, HIAS is working to expand our support for
refugees in the coming months. But expanding our work depends on hitting this end-of-year fundraising goal,
and we still have a long way to go before we hit it. Time is running out to have every dollar MATCHED
before our deadline, so please:
John, will you make your first gift of $18
or more today and have it DOUBLED towards our year-end goal? Any amount you can
spare will make a tremendous impact for refugees in their greatest moment of
need.

Your generosity will help us respond rapidly to situations like the tragic fire
in Greece which destroyed the Moria refugee camp — the largest refugee camp in
Europe — and left over 12,000 refugees homeless. This past year, we were able to
provide legal aid, mental health counseling, and other critical services to
displaced families on the ground — and with your donation today, we’ll be able
to provide even more for refugees, throughout the pandemic and beyond.
HIAS will always be here to support refugees in their journey to safety and
freedom. But this lifesaving work simply isn’t possible without your generous support,
John. Can I count on you to come through with a donation for all
those seeking safety in this critical moment?
Rush your first gift of $18 or more to provide vital
assistance to refugees and asylum seekers as they build new lives free from
violence and persecution.
