Today is World Rhino Day
[link removed], yet this ancient species faces severe threats. Unchanged for 50 million years, today as few as 29,000 remain.

Illegal hunting for horn has rocketed due to demand in Asia
[link removed] – for status symbol gifts and medicine. Yet horn is made of keratin with no medical value.

You’ll be horrified, but if you pay enough you can even legally hunt a rhino
[link removed], post a picture next to their dead body, then display their head on your wall.

Born Free is determined to stop the slaughter. Our team at a recent big trade meeting in Geneva
