Republicans have been trying to suppress voter turnout for years — but in 2020, they’ve doubled down. They’ve always tried to limit access to the ballot box in working class communities, communities of color, and anywhere Republicans think they can’t win in a fair fight.

It’s not enough to get Donald Trump out of the White House. He’s backed up by enablers in the House and Senate — like Jim Risch, Steve Daines, Cory Gardner, and Martha McSally — who are committed to blocking any meaningful relief for Americans whether or not their dear leader wins re-election.

When I ran for the Montana State House, nobody thought we could win — my district had voted overwhelmingly for Donald Trump. But by going door to door and neighbor to neighbor, and talking about what matters most to families and our community, we proved them wrong.

It’s going to take all of us this November. While campaigning and voting may look different in a pandemic, it just makes it that more important you add your voice.
