Yesterday, President Trump brought quieter stories about Biden's bizarre campaign schedule to the national forefront with a tweet.

As President Trump has weighed in with a pithy tweet (read it here) <[link removed]> : "Sleepy Joe Biden just closed down his campaign for the day (Again). Wants to rest! He is a very LOW ENERGY INDIVIDUAL, and our Country cannot make it in these exciting, but complex and competitive times, with a Low Energy President !!!"

• What's at stake: This won't be the deciding issue of the 2020 election, but it highlights two potential broader trends.

(1) Biden's low-key campaign strategy is starting to concern Democrats.

As the chair of the Texas Democratic Party said bluntly, Biden not traveling due to COVID was a "pretty lame excuse." Then he added: "I thought he had his own plane. He doesn't have to sit with one space between another person on a commercial airline like I would."

And Biden's minimal-personal-contact style has led the campaign to abandon door-to-door campaigning, even in battleground states ... while fellow Democrats in other races are now doing their own outreach. <[link removed]>

(2) Biden is making the case for President Trump's criticism: that Biden is not up to the job of president. Expect to see that brought up in next Tuesday's presidential debate.
