First thing's first: on the strength of your generosity and your commitment to our cause, we were able to make up the deficit in our August fundraising numbers. Now we’d like to ask you about the speech Mike Pompeo delivered at the Republican National Convention.

Maybe you saw it -- the sitting Secretary of State was presented against the backdrop of Jerusalem, which he called a “city of God.” In response, former national security advisor Susan Rice condemned Pompeo, saying it’s “problematic” to have an "overtly religious” Secretary of State. The Washington Post went a step further with their headline: “Pompeo’s Christian Zionism takes center stage.”
