Hi John,

First thing's first: on the strength of your generosity and your commitment to our cause, we were able to make up the deficit in our August fundraising numbers. From all of us at the Center, thank you -- profusely and profoundly -- for allowing us to grow our operations. We will never take your support for granted.

Now we’d like to ask you about the speech Mike Pompeo delivered at the Republican National Convention.

Maybe you saw it -- the sitting Secretary of State was presented against the backdrop of Jerusalem, which he called a “city of God.” In response, former national security advisor Susan Rice condemned Pompeo, saying it’s “problematic” to have an "overtly religious” Secretary of State. The Washington Post went a step further with their headline: “Pompeo’s Christian Zionism takes center stage.”

We have more information to share with you on the implications of Pompeo’s ideology -- but first we want to hear your view on the matter:

Should government officials lead with their faith?

YES   NO

Thank you for your input -- we couldn’t do the work we do without you.
