law, only appoint judges who will uphold the protections of Roe, and
eliminate the Hyde Amendment. To be a fairer nation, we have to protect
the freedom to have an abortion. - Julián Castro, Former Secretary of
Housing and Urban Development [ [link removed] ]When I'm president, I'm going to require
that states must clear their laws about abortion with the DOJ, and they
must pass constitutional muster. Until it's cleared, it cannot go into
effect. Clearly, we need some oversight. -Senator Kamala Harris. [ [link removed] ]We are
facing a well-funded, extremist attack on a woman’s right to control her
own body. But I am absolutely confident that we are going to win this
struggle. This country is about freedom. - Senator Bernie Sanders
[ [link removed] ]Reproductive freedom is a winning issue — and for 2020, being
pro-choice is the floor, not the ceiling, for our eventual nominee. By
investing and organizing in early states like Iowa, South Carolina,
Nevada, and New Hampshire, NARAL members are ensuring that reproductive
freedom is at the forefront of candidates’ minds — and policy platforms —
