Folks - The House just passed the Deliver for
America Act to save the United States Postal Service.
The House convened an emergency session to pass this bill,
which would prohibit the USPS from changing operations or levels
of service from those that were in effect at the start of 2020.
It also stops post office closures, cuts to overtime pay, and
service changes that would delay mail delivery.
Because even though Postmaster General Louis DeJoy claimed that
planned service changes would be put on hold until after Election
Day, he is refusing to reverse any already-implemented cuts - the
same cuts that continue to slow down mail delivery and have
allowed for the removal of mailboxes and sorting machinery.
The Senate must return to Washington and pass this bill
immediately. We have no time to waste to save the USPS - and our
democracy. Will you sign your name here to demand action on the
USPS? ( [link removed] )

We need to pass legislation NOW to prevent the Trump
administration from further sabotaging the postal service - and
the November election along with it. The USPS is a critical
institution that could make or break this mostly mail-in
election.
And even beyond November, the USPS must be protected so it can
continue to provide essential services to millions of Americans,
including those with limited mobility and veterans who need
access to important goods like medicine, food, and paychecks.
We cannot afford to play politics with the USPS. Demand the
Senate return to Washington and pass legislation to save the
postal service immediately →

Thanks for taking action,
