Big companies buy a bunch of beloved smaller companies to polish their image and maximize profit. And one of the biggest offenders has just backtracked on their commitment to animals. Last year, Unilever decided that compassion toward animals should be a suggestion rather than a standard and walked back on its global cage-free egg commitment to spare approximately 4.9 million hens from extreme cruelty. Will you spare a moment of your time to spare the hens they’re keeping locked in cages?
