Dear friend,
Our report, Hear Us, Believe Us, found that 84% of Black parents and caregivers believe it is important that their child attend and graduate from college.
Black parents are deeply invested in their child’s education—yet gaps in opportunity, low percentages of African American administrators and teachers in schools, and other issues create significant barriers within our K-12 students’ schools, but UNCF is working to help students overcome those barriers.
Our collective voice and action are essential for enduring change. UNCF is committed to providing the support that students and HBCUs need, and now we need your voice.
Will you join us today by signing our pledge to advocate for equitable resources and college readiness for K-12 students on their journey to an HBCU?

For over 80 years, UNCF has fought to open opportunities for students to build promising futures and for HBCUs to stand as pillars of the community.
Today, we need the help of parents to advance that mission within the halls of K-12 institutions. So please, sign our pledge today and take a significant step in supporting our students as they build their futures.
