Our report, Hear Us, Believe Us, found that 84% of Black parents and caregivers believe it is important that their child attend and graduate from college.

Black parents are deeply invested in their child’s education—yet gaps in opportunity, low percentages of African American administrators and teachers in schools, and other issues create significant barriers within our K-12 students’ schools, but UNCF is working to help students overcome those barriers.

Our collective voice and action are essential for enduring change. UNCF is committed to providing the support that students and HBCUs need, and now we need your voice.
