*Dear Neighbors,*

ICE's "Operation Metro Surge" in the last two months has taken neighbors and loved ones, violated civil rights, caused fear in our community, and negatively impacted our local businesses and schools. Such actions are not about immigration enforcement. It has become a campaign of fear and intimidation and that too often has resulted in violence. Minnesotans deserve to feel safe in our communities. It's time for this operation to end.

Community leaders, unions, and faith organizations are calling for a general strike tomorrow, Friday January 23rd to end ICE's unconstitutional activities. It’ll be a day for moral action and reflection: no work, no school, no shopping — only community, conscience, and collective action.
