Dear Supporter,

As we say goodbye to 2025, I want you to know how grateful I am for everything you helped us accomplish this year. Thanks to your support, the National Committee:

Stopped numerous attacks on Social Security and Medicare

Represented your views on Capitol Hill through hundreds of thousands of petitions and letters to Congress you’ve signed digitally and through the mail

Took to the airwaves and print media to raise the alarm on efforts to cut and radically “reform” seniors’ programs

Offered an exciting new season of the “You Earned This” ( [link removed] ) podcast series

Delivered letters of support or opposition to Congress and the White House on legislation that will impact the health and retirement security of older Americans now and in the future
Helped expose myths and lies being promoted in the media and by politicians and billionaire CEOs about Social Security and Medicare.

But as I look ahead to the new year, I’m gravely concerned about the future of Americans’ retirement and health security. Speaker of the House Mike Johnson appears determined to create a so-called “fiscal commission” tasked with finding spending cuts to Social Security and Medicare.

For years, we’ve helped stave off the creation of a congressional commission that could recommend devastating benefit cuts, but this dangerous proposal could gain momentum in the weeks ahead.

GOP hardliners have made it clear they have no problem going after seniors’ earned benefits even as millions of older Americans continue to struggle to afford the high cost of many of the goods and services they rely on.

Supporter, as someone who supports the National Committee, you understand the critical need to have a full-time advocacy force in Washington, DC fighting to protect your earned benefits day in and day out. That’s why I urge you to please make your year-end gift today! ( [link removed] )

Your donation will help us mobilize our grassroots army of concerned citizens and our advocacy and media relations staff to go to battle against the powerful insurance companies, huge drug companies and Wall Street who want nothing more than for the little guy to work harder and longer, pay more and get less … so they can protect their fortunes.

Every donation helps us get closer to our end-of-year $50,000 goal — SO PLEASE MAKE A GIFT RIGHT NOW. ( [link removed] ) We have so much hanging in the balance in 2026 — your support will help ensure we’re prepared to hit the ground running as soon as Congress reconvenes on January 6!

On behalf of all of us here at the National Committee thank you for your continued support and generosity.

Best wishes for a healthy and happy New Year,

Max Richtman
President & CEO
