Dear John,
The food we share connects us in profound ways, not just during this season of giving [[link removed]] and gratitude, but with each and every meal that nourishes us throughout the year. Food connects us to each other, and to the land, culture and traditions we celebrate.
We heard from Minnesota farmers on stage at the Farm Aid 40 Press Event. They told us about the challenge they face as they fight the growth of factory farms and the impact industrial agriculture has on their communities and livelihoods. The work they do offers an alternative to that system and we all can find inspiration in what they do. Together, they’re organizing to solve issues and build collective voice and power by forming cooperatives, developing new markets and sharing resources and sustainable growth practices.
We all deserve access to good food, healthy soil and water, clean air and strong communities. That’s the public service that family farmers provide to us and they deserve our support. Please stand with them by making a gift [[link removed]] to Farm Aid right now.
SHOW FAMILY FARMERS YOU HAVE THEIR BACKS [[link removed]]
For forty years, Farm Aid has been standing strong with family farmers and eaters alike by:
Answering our Farmer Hotline with a listening ear to offer hope and emergency relief to family farmers in times of crisis Connecting farmers to eaters and the resources they need to thrive, and Fighting for fair farm policies that promote healthy soil and water to nurture and strengthen the communities we share.
We’re grateful for four decades of generosity from folks like you. With your support [[link removed]], we’ll continue to be here for family farmers to build a future of agriculture that serves us all.
With thanks and best wishes,
Steve Snyder
