It's possible that the presidential election this fall may be decided by ma=
iled-in ballots, especially with the close margins between candidates in ba=
ttleground states.

e -- have turned to major vote-by-mail outreach efforts. Other states, like=
California, have tried to simply mail ballots to every registered voter on=
their rolls.

This new tactic will shorten the campaign calendar, too. In many states, vo=
te-by-mail absentee ballots are sent out 30 to 45 days before the election.=
Campaigns will want to make sure supportive voters get and return their ba=

It's possible that the presidential election this fall may be decided by mailed-in ballots, especially with the close margins between candidates in battleground states.
Democrats -- and allied groups, like the pro-Biden super PAC mentioned above -- have turned to major vote-by-mail outreach efforts. Other states, like California, have tried to simply mail ballots to every registered voter on their rolls.
This new tactic will shorten the campaign calendar, too. In many states, vote-by-mail absentee ballots are sent out 30 to 45 days before the election. Campaigns will want to make sure supportive voters get and return their ballots as quickly as possible.

It's possible that the presidential election this fall may be decided by mailed-in ballots, especially with the close margins between candidates in battleground states.
Democrats -- and allied groups, like the pro-Biden super PAC mentioned above -- have turned to major vote-by-mail outreach efforts. Other states, like California, have tried to simply mail ballots to every registered voter on their rolls.
