Winter Wonderland returns next month, and you can book online for ice skating, the Observation Wheel, Ice Bar, and Sur La Piste and Altitude chalet bars. Book in advance and save 10% on your ice skating bookings!
Glide above Old Market Square on the Sky Skate Ice Path, take in panoramic views of the city on the Observation Wheel, and enjoy seasonal cheer with delicious food and drink in the alpine ski bars. On Saturday, the free *Sparks in the Park [ [link removed] ]* event takes place at Sutton Lawn (Sutton in Ashfield) with a huge funfair, live entertainment, and two firework displays. There's another spectacular display tomorrow at Nottingham Racecourse, set to the magic of the movies with *Cinema in the Sky* [ [link removed] ].
On Sunday, Norwood Park (Southwell) hosts a *Bonfire Night* [ [link removed] ] featuring fireworks, fire dancers, and delicious food vendors. The traditional Remembrance Service takes place at the city's war memorial at Victoria Embankment. The ceremony will begin at 10.45am and include the two-minute silence and wreath laying.
The Nottinghamshire Band of The Royal Engineers, accompanied by the Nottingham Hospitals Choir, will provide music for the service. People wishing to pay their respects and observe the ceremony are very welcome.

You can participate by proposing an event or installation in a city centre public realm space, hosting in your own venue, or submitting a proposal for one of our funded artistic commissions.
