John, The 2025 Pennsylvania’s Supreme Court retention election — the most important election of 2025 — has officially begun as mail-in ballots for the upcoming election begin arriving in mailboxes for PA voters. If Trump and MAGA seize this court, it’ll be the biggest step towards Trump fulfilling his fascist takeover yet. Here’s what's at stake: All of PA’s Dem seats will be gerrymandered out of existence. An extreme abortion ban will be upheld. MAGA will have free reign to conduct voter suppression and steal the ‘26 and ‘28 elections before they even happen. But in addition to mail in ballots something sinister is also arriving in the mailboxes of PA Democratic voters: a poisoned piece of mail. This deceptive mailer from a MAGA dark money PAC began hitting Democrats mailboxes today. Utilizing deceptive tactics like the mailer above MAGA is poisoning the well and tricking Democratic voters into removing their own Democratic Supreme Court Justices (the judge’s party affiliation does not appear on the ballot) under the auspices of “Protecting Women” and “Defending our Democracy.” The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that the group behind most of these ads, “Citizens for Term Limits” is tied to ultra-MAGA billionaire and richest man in Pennsylvania, Jeffrey Yass. Yass’s backing means this group has unlimited money at their disposal to fuel their deception. If we don’t counter MAGA’s disinformation campaign right now, we will lose this election and it will be fellow Democrats, tricked by these messages, who will be our undoing.
