Utilizing deceptive tactics like the mailer above MAGA is poisoning the well and tricking Democratic voters into removing their own Democratic Supreme Court Justices (the judge’s party affiliation does not appear on the ballot) under the auspices of “Protecting Women” and “Defending our Democracy.”
The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that the group behind most of these ads, “Citizens for Term Limits” is tied to ultra-MAGA billionaire and richest man in Pennsylvania, Jeffrey Yass. Yass’s backing means this group has unlimited money at their disposal to fuel their deception.
If we don’t counter MAGA’s disinformation campaign right now, we will lose this election and it will be fellow Democrats, tricked by these messages, who will be our undoing.
That’s where Defend Our Courts comes in. With over $1.5 million raised and an army of canvassers we’re one of the only organizations positioned to counter the flood of disinformation.
