Nothing prepared me for the day strangers showed up at my home, screaming at my family.
They were SO furious that I had stood up for teachers and kids on the school board that they burned “FU” into my lawn.
My neighbors were scared. My daughter asked why people hated us so much.
I’ll be honest JOHN, it shook me. But it didn’t break me.
Because if extremists are that determined to silence us, it means the fight is worth having.
And I refuse to back down.
