They want to smear me, intimidate me, and scare me off the frontlines: Just a small portion of the racist and violent comments I received after the incident. But here’s the truth: Donald Trump and MAGA are resorting to extreme and desperate measures to try and silence us because our message is winning. The vast majority of the American people will not tolerate what’s happening. They know that this isn’t law and order — it’s fascism. This nation was founded on the promise of liberty, justice, and equal protection under the law, not government thugs tearing families apart in the dead of night. Trump’s mass deportation agenda tramples over the values America was built on. I’ve stood up to ICE in the streets of Chicago before I even became a candidate—tear gas, rubber bullets, and all. I’ve stood shoulder-to-shoulder with families targeted by ICE, canvassed neighborhoods to educate people about their rights, and rallied Chicagoans into action.
