Here’s the background: The Trump administration’s US Dept. of Education (US ED) has announced [[link removed]] a new MAGA-driven “patriotic education” curriculum [[link removed]] initiative that it plans to force into classrooms across America.
The curriculum is being pushed by a coalition that includes more than 40 partner groups, all of which are closely aligned with the president’s MAGA movement [[link removed]] , including America First Legal , a group founded by the architect of Mr. Trump’s policy agenda, Stephen Miller, the Heritage Foundation , which oversaw Project 2025, and Moms for Liberty , designated as an "anti-government extremist" group [[link removed]] . This is a scary direction for public education and democracy — and we only have a few weeks to speak up!
