Here’s the background: The Trump administration’s US Dept. of Education (US ED) has announced a new MAGA-driven “patriotic education” curriculum initiative that it plans to force into classrooms across America.

The curriculum is being pushed by a coalition that includes more than 40 partner groups, all of which are closely aligned with the president’s MAGA movement, including America First Legal, a group founded by the architect of Mr. Trump’s policy agenda, Stephen Miller, the Heritage Foundation, which oversaw Project 2025, and Moms for Liberty, designated as an "anti-government extremist" group. This is a scary direction for public education and democracy — and we only have a few weeks to speak up!
