Generous supporter, Leone McKay, has pledged to match all
gifts up to $150,000 until midnight TONIGHT if we can raise that same
amount. Her donation, made in honor of her late husband, Col. William
P. McKay, whom she lost to Alzheimer's disease, will support research
efforts, while your donation can go 2X as far to help provide care and
support to so many in your community and across the country as well as
advance the research that could, one day, end Alzheimer's.

On World Alzheimer's Day, we honor all those who have been
impacted by Alzheimer's, including the over 7 million Americans
currently living with the disease and their nearly 12 million unpaid
caregivers. More people are diagnosed every day - it's an
escalating global public health crisis. That is why your support is so
urgently needed while it can make 2X the difference.
POP QUIZ:
In 2024, unpaid Alzheimer's caregivers provided over 19
billion hours of care. What is the estimated value of this care?
$100 billion

The emotional, physical and financial toll this disease takes
is overwhelming. In 2025, Alzheimer's and other dementia are projected
to cost the nation $384 billion. By 2050, these costs could rise to
nearly $1 trillion. Now is the time to do more, not less. We need you
to stand with us on this important day.

Your gift can have double the impact on keeping the momentum
going in the fight against this cruel disease. This World Alzheimer's
Day, we celebrate the tremendous progress we have made. The U.S. Food
and Drug Administration has approved treatments that target the
underlying biology of the disease, giving us all a reason to hope.
While there's currently no cure, these treatments may change the
progression of the disease and give those living with early
Alzheimer's more time to plan for the future, to live independently
and to spend more time with family and friends.

But our work is far from done.
Everyone living with Alzheimer's, no matter where they are in
their journey, deserves to have access to treatments that improve
their lives and give them hope. With your support, we will continue
efforts to advance all potential treatment avenues because the search
for a cure has never been more important.
With World Alzheimer's Day finally here, the clock is ticking
to take advantage of this limited-time match opportunity. By joining
us today with a gift to our World Alzheimer's Day 2X Match Challenge,
you'll touch lives around the world and help the Alzheimer's
Association continue to:
* Invest over $450 million in more than 1,200 active research
projects in 56 countries spanning six continents.
* Operate our free 24/7 Helpline (800.272.3900) that is staffed by
specialists and master's-level care consultants, providing
confidential support and information to all those affected by
Alzheimer's or another dementia.
* Facilitate support groups and education programs in communities
nationwide and work to ensure these services reach underserved
populations.
* Act as the leading voice for Alzheimer's disease advocacy,
fighting for critical Alzheimer's research and care initiatives
at the state and federal levels.
* Further our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all
other dementia - by accelerating global research, driving
risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care
and support.
A cure for Alzheimer's and all other dementia is out there.
With your help, we can advance groundbreaking research to discover it,
while providing care and support to those who need it today.
