Fly-fishing, fly-tying class for beginners
Aspiring fly-fishing anglers take note: a beginners class for fly-fishing and fly-tying is happening at Chadron State Park [ [link removed] ] on Oct. 4. You'll learn the basics of both topics; including equipment, materials, tools and techniques. *Space is limited, so register now. *Some park lodging may be available. Nebraska's fall turkey season opens Oct. 1, so now is the time to be making plans, scouting for birds and brushing up on fall turkey regulations. [ [link removed] ] The season ends Nov. 30, so you'll want to make the most of those two months by starting early. Youth permits [ [link removed] ] are still just $8, so bring a young hunter along for the adventure!
