Email from Alzheimer's Research and Prevention Foundation Step it up with ARPF   Dear John, In less than two weeks, we are hosting the most exciting event of the year! Can we count you in? (Recordings available!) Movement Week is founded on the incredible brain health benefits of exercise. But what if I told you that the secret to a long, healthy life isn't just about getting fit? It's about having fun. That's why we have 5 days of fun lined up for you. Have you wondered why Zumba is so popular? Well... Dancing is more than just a social activity; it's a powerful tool for physical and mental well-being. Benefits of Dancing: Boosts mood Reduces stress Enhances flexibility Strengthens muscles Improves cardiovascular health Improves cognitive function (challenging your brain to remember steps and sequences) ... and all while you're enjoying the music and company! REGISTER Join ARPF for our virtual Movement Week, from Monday, September 15 to Friday, September 19 Each day, one of our highly esteemed fitness experts will lead a fun, one-hour session. From the lively rhythms of Latin Zumba to the mindful flow of Tai Chi and Qigong, you'll discover a variety of exercises that are proven to improve blood flow, stimulate new brain cell growth, and strengthen neural connections. REGISTER Remember folks, it's not just about getting your heart rate up. It's about finding joy in movement and laughter, whether that's through a weekly dance class, a virtual series, or simply turning up the music and grooving in your living room. The key is to find activities that make you want to move. All sessions are accessible to everyone, with modifications to ensure you can participate safely and effectively. We hope to see you on Monday, September 15th at 9 am PT / 12 pm ET for 60 minutes. We'll practice every day at the same time.
