The Broward Democratic Party is excited to announce its Voter Summit Weekend Friday September 26 and Saturday September 27th to help us kick-off and get ready for the 2026 election season by registering voters and getting out the vote all while having fun.

Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill in Plantation
An evening of energy, networking, and community spirit to launch the weekend. Tickets are $25 and includes 2 drink tickets, appetizers, and light bites.
Voter Summit & Open House Expo
Saturday, September 27, 2025
8:30 am-2:00 pm
Heron Bay Marriott Hotel & Conference Center in Coral Springs
Our flagship event on National Voter Registration Day will feature workshops, an expo hall, elected officials, candidates, Democratic clubs, caucuses, and Democratic-owned businesses. We’ll be registering new voters, re-enrolling Vote By Mail voters, and building momentum for 2026.
At the Voter Summit and Open House Expo you can:

✅ Meet your local elected officials and candidates on the 2026 ballot.
✅ Discover Democratic Clubs, caucuses, and volunteer opportunities.
✅ Connecting YOU with the tools to take action and make a difference.
✅ Learn how YOU can help us save democracy.
Last year, over 400 people attended , making this one of the largest grassroots gatherings in Broward County. This year will be even bigger!

* Get Out The Vote 101: Learn how to register, engage, and turn out voters at every level of government—including general elections, primaries, municipal races, and special initiatives.
* Communications & Messaging 101: Master the art of talking about Democratic values — from canvassing to social media.
* Fighting Back Against Project 2025: Understand the threats this far-right plan poses to democracy, civil rights, immigration, and the federal workforce — and what we can do to stop it.
10:00-10:50 am: Workshop Block B (choose one)
* Working Families & the Affordability Crisis: Explore economic trends and actionable solutions for housing, healthcare, and cost-of-living relief.
* Focus Group: Of the People, By the People, For the People: Participate in a grassroots conversation about voters’ priorities and how we align our work with what really matters.
* Ballot Initiatives in 2026: Learn how Democrats are overcoming Republican roadblocks to advance citizen-led ballot amendments on health care, clean water, and more.
