🚨 HEAT ADVISORY: Stay Safe Today

Dear MCN Community,

The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for NYC today, Tuesday, July 8 from 10 A.M. to 8 P.M. with temperatures expected to feel like 100°F or higher.

Please take precautions to protect yourself and others, especially children, elders, and those with health conditions.

🌬️ Need to cool off?
* NYC Cooling Centers will be open across the city.
* Find the closest one by calling 311 or visiting:

✅ Heat Safety Tips:
* Stay indoors or in air-conditioned spaces.
* Drink water often — even if you’re not thirsty.
* Avoid strenuous outdoor activity from 11 A.M.–4 P.M.
* Check on elderly neighbors, family, and friends.
* Never leave kids or pets in a parked car.

Let’s look out for one another during this extreme weather.
