🚨 HEAT ADVISORY: Stay Safe Today

The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for NYC today, Tuesday, July 8 from 10 A.M. to 8 P.M. with temperatures expected to feel like 100°F or higher.

Please take precautions to protect yourself and others, especially children, elders, and those with health conditions.

• NYC Cooling Centers will be open across the city.

• Find the closest one by calling 311 or visiting: NYC Cool Options Finder

✅ Heat Safety Tips:

• Stay indoors or in air-conditioned spaces.

• Drink water often — even if you’re not thirsty.

• Avoid strenuous outdoor activity from 11 A.M.–4 P.M.

• Check on elderly neighbors, family, and friends.

• Never leave kids or pets in a parked car.
