** JUNE 15
------------------------------------------------------------
Welcome to this week’s edition of the HYR newsletter, . It was a head-spinning week!
Israel struck Iran, throwing the state of affairs in an already chaotic Middle East into further turbulence. Across the nation and globe, organized mass protests marched in opposition of the Trump Administration. The Minnesota Speaker of the House and her husband were murdered in a politically motivated shooting by a radical leftist disguised as law enforcement. A Californian Senator discovered that borders are sometimes physically enforced.
In Texas, debates over Congressional redistricting and transgender athletes are afoot–the latter issue had a distinct hometown flair to it.
We break it down below.

** Israel v Iran Ignites
------------------------------------------------------------
On Friday the 13th Israel scrambled 200 fighter jets, hitting over 100 different military and nuclear installations in Iran. The Pentagon was well aware an Israeli strike was imminent–as predicted Thursday night by a gimmick account dedicated to tracking activity at pizza delivery places ([link removed]) and bars ([link removed]) in closest proximity to the Pentagon.
The unilateral Israeli operation wiped out essentially all of Iran’s military officials atop the chain of command. Some Iranian political leaders have fled the country, reportedly seeking refuge in Moscow. The fleeing regime, which pinky-promised they weren’t building up a nuclear weapons program, presumably has no comment on the radioactive leak detected in the Natanz region.
Who knows what comes next? Some foreign affairs experts have predicted a regime change is coming; a power vacuum in an unstable nation naturally begs the issue, but that hinges upon the effectiveness of Israel’s ongoing incursion into Iran, and a variety of geopolitical factors.
At time of writing, Israel has twice formally requested American assistance in its war to end Iran’s rogue nuclear weapons program. The Trump Administration has, so far, declined. Notably, what’s left of Iran’s power structure has vowed retaliatory action against US military bases in the region.
** “No Kings” Nonsense
------------------------------------------------------------
Totally “organic,” definitely-not-scripted-and-politically-funded 1st Amendment demonstrations swept through communities across America, and even abroad. A few things to consider:
* These clearly organized and paid-for protests were uniquely timed. Saturday marked the wedding of Alex Soros (son of open borders/soft on crime billionaire Democrat mega-donor George Soros) to Huma Abedin (former spouse of NY Dem Congressman/pedo Anthony Weiner, and senior political and official aide to Hillary Clinton). What better wedding gift than throwing a wrench in President Trump’s birthday festivities and our Army’s 250’th anniversary parade while the White House is in Middle East crisis mode? P.S. The Army parade had been in the works for two years ([link removed]) , long before the last election cycle.
* The majority of participants in these protests were Boomers. If you needed any further confirmation that the demographic has been completely brainwashed by the biased legacy media they’ve mindlessly revered and trusted their entire lives, watch this clip ([link removed]) .
* And the irony? These “No Kings” protests were spearheaded by the party that crowned its Presidential nominee without a primary election–while using the courts to block the sitting President from executing significant parts of his agenda.
* Speaking of irony, these protests went international, including in the UK–where they both have a king, and hold no stake in US politics. The true “No Kings” day was the 4th of July in 1776.
** Murder in Minnesota
------------------------------------------------------------
Melissa Hortman, Speaker of the House of the Minnesota legislature, and her husband were murdered in cold blood. State Senator John Hoffman and his wife Yvette also sustained gunshot wounds, but at time of writing are expected to survive. The assassinations followed Hortman’s decision to break from her Democrat colleagues in voting to repeal free healthcare for illegal aliens.
Hoffman’s wife threw herself into the line of fire protecting her daughter; the bullet she took just narrowly missed her heart.
The shooting was conducted by 57 year old Vance Boelter, who donned a latex mask and police attire while impersonating a law enforcement officer to gain entry to the residence. There are questionable circumstances ([link removed]) surrounding Boelter’s background. Boelter was apprehended by law enforcement minutes before publication. His digital footprint indicates he was an ardent supporter of Democrat political causes; he was even appointed to a state board by Tim Walz.
Boelter apparently wrote a manifesto which pertinent state officials have confirmed they will not be releasing. Any chance his writings would be politically damaging to Minnesota Democrats?
** Senator or Stuntman?
------------------------------------------------------------
Senator Alex Padilla [D-CA] was forcibly removed ([link removed]) and eventually handcuffed ([link removed]) in an attempt to crash a press conference organized by DHS Secretary Kristi Noem in support of ICE’s deportation efforts.
It’s worth noting the riots in LA last week didn’t actually stem, in retrospect, from a routine deportation operation. ICE was mobilized to bust a drug cartel money laundering operation, and their intervention spurred the civic unrest overwhelming the city.
Padilla nonetheless saw an opportunity to politicize the issue (totally not a publicity stunt ([link removed]) ) by derailing the presser.
There should be no doubt Padilla’s actions were meant to shamelessly fuel media attention and brand recognition–he himself admitted Noem didn’t even recognize him. ([link removed]) Padilla claimed he wasn’t trying to be disruptive; how else should one interpret charging the podium of a Cabinet press conference exactly?
** In Other News
------------------------------------------------------------
* In wake of “No Kings” day and other ridiculous protest strategies frequently employed by leftists–Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has rubber stamped ([link removed]) Florida drivers running over protestors blocking traffic and major thoroughfares.
* Military industrial complex giant Lockheed Martin has been racially discriminating ([link removed]) against their employees according to whistleblower testimony.
* Greta Thunberg is running the same playbook ([link removed]) as Iranian and Palestinian leadership.
* Senate Democrats invited an “expert witness” to testify at a hearing on SNAP (food stamps) budget cuts–perhaps they should have given greater consideration ([link removed]) to political optics?
* The House grilled the 3 incompetent governors ([link removed]) of New York, Minnesota, and Illinois this week. The best moment may have come from an exchange between ([link removed]) House Majority Whip Tom Emmer [R-MN-6] and Governor Tim Walz.
* A Politico op-ed this week suggesting Democrats are reclaiming the American flag as a symbolic figure was comically riddled with errors ([link removed]) . This newsletter may employ a more stringent editorial process than that professionally written piece.
** Redistricting Discourse
------------------------------------------------------------
The Trump Administration is privately lobbying ([link removed]) the Texas GOP to look into drawing a new Congressional map in advance of midterm elections. Republicans hold a 25-12 edge party line margin within the state as House districts are currently written.
Jurisdiction over Congressional borders falls to the Texas legislature; Governor Abbott would have to order a special session in order to adopt any such measures. The White House is hoping to squeeze a few more Republican leaning seats out of Texas to pad the House’s tenuous voting margins. Influential Members of the state delegation have largely refrained from going on record about the proposal so far.
** Gender Gymnastics
------------------------------------------------------------
Houstons’ own Simone Biles, an incredibly decorated Olympic gymnast, performed a routine this week that culminated with both feet in her mouth.
Biles took to Twitter to lambast Riley Gaines, an decorated swimmer in her own right, for having the audacity to continue speaking out against blue states continuing to support cross-gender athletic competitions between biological women and mentally ill men cosplaying as women.
In part of Biles’ unhinged and unsolicited Twitter tirade against Gaines, she suggested Riley “pick on someone her own size.” This is a hilarious statement for a couple reasons.
First, Simone tacitly acknowledges that there are inherent differences between men and women in terms of biological stature and athletic ability. Second, if Simone were to take her own advice, she’d be squaring up with an adult legally required to sit on a phone book to drive a car.
After Riley Gaines and social media repeatedly ratioed her to oblivion, Biles ultimately posted a ChatGPT-esque apology–likely at the advice of her publicity team. Perhaps she/her team caught wind that Gaines came to Houston to speak at a GOP fundraiser this Friday?
What’s tragic about this entire exchange is that Biles epitomized American excellence on a global stage during her athletic career. And several years ago she’s on record defending the separation of biological sexes in athletics. Simone succumbed to peer pressure and group think at some point in all her success–here’s hoping Riley Gaines’ wakeup call ends her process from real life to mental gymnastic routines.
