*KITSAP COUNTY, Wash.  — *We’re excited to announce the recipients of this year’s Commission on Children and Youth; Programs that Prevent and Reduce the Impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES) request for proposal (RFP)! After a competitive review process, these youth serving agencies have been selected for their innovative ideas, dedication, and potential to make a meaningful impact for youth ages birth to eighteen in Kitsap County communities.

*Funding Details:*

Available Funds: $19,500

Funding Requests: $126,897.50

Funding Recommendations: $19,500

*Awardees:*


* *Boys & Girls Clubs of Snohomish – Kingston Boys & Girls Club*
* Awarded: $10,000
* Purpose: implementation of Evidence Based Social Emotional Programs at the Kingston Boys & Girls Club


* *Boys & Girls Clubs of South Puget Sound*
* Awarded: $6,500
* Purpose: Provide Youth Mental Health First Aid trainings to teens and adults in the community.


* *Kitsap Regional Library*
* Awarded: $3,000
* Purpose: Provide outreach to underserved populations and encourage access to the library’s trauma-informed, resilience-building programs and services.
