 KITSAP COUNTY, Wash. — We’re excited to announce the recipients of this year’s Commission on Children and Youth; Programs that Prevent and Reduce the Impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES) request for proposal (RFP)! After a competitive review process, these youth serving agencies have been selected for their innovative ideas, dedication, and potential to make a meaningful impact for youth ages birth to eighteen in Kitsap County communities.

- Awarded: $10,000
- Purpose: implementation of Evidence Based Social Emotional Programs at the Kingston Boys & Girls Club

- Awarded: $6,500
- Purpose: Provide Youth Mental Health First Aid trainings to teens and adults in the community.

- Awarded: $3,000
- Purpose: Provide outreach to underserved populations and encourage access to the library’s trauma-informed, resilience-building programs and services.
