The further erosion of judicial independence

- Today, Attorney General Pam Bondi informed the American Bar Association that the Department of Justice will no longer work with the association on its rating process for judicial nominees, citing “bias” in the process.

- “We must operate from the expectation that Trump’s picks for judges parallel his picks for other positions in their loyalty to him and his hoarding of power,” Democracy Docket guest author Keith Thirion wrote ([link removed] ) .
