We’re in a climate crisis – so why is a Democratic congressman voting with
Trump and Republicans to help polluters?

Rep. Shri Thanedar – Detroit’s Elon Musk – joined 34 other House Democrats
in supporting the GOP’s attack on policies taking on climate change.

The worst part? Shri’s district has the 6th-worst air pollution in the
country. Instead of fighting for environmental justice and bold climate
policies, he’s voting to give handouts to Trump and his ultrarich fossil
fuel backers.

It’s pathetic. And it’s exactly why Donavan McKinney just launched his
campaign to unseat Shri.

Donavan knows we can’t afford weak Democrats in office – especially not
ones who vote with MAGA to further poison the air we breathe!

He’s running because he understands exactly what communities like MI-13
are up against. He’s lived through the impacts of environmental racism,
and he’s raising his family in the very neighborhoods being choked by
pollution.

Donavan is rooted in this working-class community, and those roots mean we
can count on him to fight for what the people – not the polluting
corporations and billionaire class – need.

he needs a grassroots movement behind him to take on a self-funded,
