We’re in a climate crisis – so why is a Democratic congressman voting with Trump and Republicans to help polluters?

Rep. Shri Thanedar – Detroit’s Elon Musk – joined 34 other House Democrats in supporting the GOP’s attack on policies taking on climate change.

The worst part? Shri’s district has the 6th-worst air pollution in the country. Instead of fighting for environmental justice and bold climate policies, he’s voting to give handouts to Trump and his ultrarich fossil fuel backers.

It’s pathetic. And it’s exactly why Donavan McKinney just launched his campaign to unseat Shri.
