Girl Scouts 'Tis the season for Girl Scout cookies! Many thanks to the local troops who generously donated cookies for our clients and staff to enjoy! Elevation Church Our partner Elevation Church's latest activity supporting Doorways was creating snack packs for our clients. They've been especially appreciated by the many children and parents who are part of our programs! The Pearls of Southeast Arlington "Crowning Confidence" Haircare Product Drive The Pearls of Southeast Arlington led an amazing donation drive this month! The Pearls are a service group of Alpha Kappa Alpha (AKA) Sorority, Inc., and hosted their "Crowning Confidence" Hair Products Drive - which collected well over 1,000 items! Clients have been so happy to receive these wonderful products. Thank you, Pearls! Lady Octopus Tattoos Our friends at Lady Octopus Tattoos hosted another successful flash fundraiser day for Doorways in April for Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month (SAAPM). All proceeds from the day's tattoos were donated, totaling $4,375! See More on Instagram Moms Demand Action Moms Demand Action (MDA) Arlington created welcome bags for our clients! Heidi Daniel and Alice Moore had fun putting the bags together from donations they received from fellow MDA members. Doorways' client services staff were excited to receive and share these bags!
