From hosting and attending fundraising events, to conducting collection drives, to gifting Girl Scout cookies to our clients and staff, there are so many ways you've supported Doorways this season. Mental Health Care Items

In the previous edition of This Week @ Doorways, we shared an urgent need for care items. This was the stack of packages that arrived the next day alone! Thank you for supporting survivors and kids at Doorways!

Rocklands Roast

Rocklands' annual pig and oyster roast for Doorways was a grand success! A sold-old event on a sunny spring day made for a patio full of more than 150 Doorways supporters, Rocklands fans, and event sponsors.

The Pearls of Southeast Arlington "Crowning Confidence" Haircare Product Drive

The Pearls of Southeast Arlington led an amazing donation drive this month! The Pearls are a service group of Alpha Kappa Alpha (AKA) Sorority, Inc., and hosted their "Crowning Confidence" Hair Products Drive - which collected well over 1,000 items! Clients have been so happy to receive these wonderful products. Thank you, Pearls!

Lady Octopus Tattoos

Our friends at Lady Octopus Tattoos hosted another successful flash fundraiser day for Doorways in April for Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month (SAAPM). All proceeds from the day's tattoos were donated, totaling $4,375!

Moms Demand Action

Moms Demand Action (MDA) Arlington created welcome bags for our clients! Heidi Daniel and Alice Moore had fun putting the bags together from donations they received from fellow MDA members. Doorways' client services staff were excited to receive and share these bags!
