Another new low, John

Donald Trump recently announced he is personally putting a stop to the effort
to change the name of military bases that are named after traitorous
Confederate Generals.

 

This is wrong.

 

It is an anti-American insult to the millions of Black Americans who put their
lives on the line for us, and our flag, to be forced to serve at installations
named for the men who tried to keep many of their ancestors in bondage.  

 

The names of generals who sought to dissolve our Union must be thrown into the
wastebasket of history.

to rebuke Trump and work toremove the names of racist Confederate Generals from
