May Day is this Thursday & we're kicking off a full week of events, starting tonight with our monthly social. As socialist workers, we celebrate May Day in honor of the Haymarket martyrs, who fought for the eight hour work-week & were criminalized for a May Day protest in 1886. May Day March & Rally (x2)

Join us May 1st in support of the Detroit May Day March & Rally at Roosevelt Park in Detroit. MD-DSA has endorsed this Rally & March alongside labor union locals, left organizations and non-profits and will be coalition building against fascism and in solidarity with workers around the world. Rally begins at 3, march at 5pm.

We highly encourage everyone to RSVP <[link removed]> and attend one or both of these events on International Workers Day, Thursday, May 1st. We will be organizing for possible carpooling between marches to help with parking, and the two rallies are supposed to merge.
District 7 Transit Town Hall

Dance Against Fascism Round 2!

Join comrades at our second “Detroit DSA presents: Dance Against Fascism” featuring the electric Dearborn band, “Prostitute” and a packed of local artists. We are excited to be partnering with them on the first leg of their album release tour. Funds raised from ticket sales go to MD-DSA and our work to build a mass party. Be there!
