May Day March & Rally (x2)

Thursday, May 1st | @ Roosevelt Park & DIA

Join us May 1st in support of the Detroit May Day March & Rally at Roosevelt Park in Detroit. MD-DSA has endorsed this Rally & March alongside labor union locals, left organizations and non-profits and will be coalition building against fascism and in solidarity with workers around the world. Rally begins at 3, march at 5pm.

RSVP here and let us know if you can help canvass the crowd at either of the marches! National DSA has also joined the coalition organizing the May Day Strong event at the DIA starting at 4pm.

We highly encourage everyone to RSVP and attend one or both of these events on International Workers Day, Thursday, May 1st. We will be organizing for possible carpooling between marches to help with parking, and the two rallies are supposed to merge. 

District 7 Transit Town Hall

Want to talk to other Detroiters about Transit? Join us at Faith Redemption Center to hear a short presentation on transit, discuss with the community, and a live Q&A with Detroit City Council District 7 candidates regarding the state of transit in the district & beyond. 

Dance Against Fascism Round 2!

Friday, May 2nd | 8pm @ UFO Bar

Join comrades at our second “Detroit DSA presents: Dance Against Fascism” featuring the electric Dearborn band, “Prostitute” and a packed of local artists. We are excited to be partnering with them on the first leg of their album release tour. Funds raised from ticket sales go to MD-DSA and our work to build a mass party. Be there! May General Meeting
