Comrade Friend,
May Day is this
Thursday & we're kicking off a full week of events, starting
tonight with our monthly social. As socialist workers, we celebrate
May Day in honor of the Haymarket martyrs, who fought for the eight
hour work-week & were criminalized for a May Day protest in 1886.
Read
more about the history of May Day
from our National Political Committee, and read on to see how you can
celebrate with Metro Detroit DSA this
week.
