Action Alert: Send a ready-to-go instant message to your local Oireachtas members TODAY!
The Pro Life Campaign’s new Positive Pathways Campaign seeks to ensure that women experiencing unplanned pregnancies are fully informed prior to an abortion about the supports available should they decide to continue their pregnancy. Right now, that’s not happening and needs to change.
A vital feature of the campaign is our Virtual Postcard initiative being launched today. It provides the opportunity for everyone who supports our goal to register their support by sending a ready-to-go virtual postcard to their local Oireachtas members.
Please take a minute to click below to send the virtual card.
Every pro-life effort we make together matters. Your attendance at the upcoming March for Life and in sending a virtual postcard all contribute to building the momentum we need to effect real change. Thanks to your support, the PLC’s nationwide billboard campaign on the same theme is also building awareness and ensuring that our message gets through.
Together, we will make a real difference!

** March for Life 2025 - just over ONE WEEK AWAY!!
------------------------------------------------------------
This year’s March for Life on Bank Holiday Monday (5th May) is our chance to unite with our pro- life Oireachtas members to send a very clear message to the Government that we expect to see urgent action taken to address Ireland’s skyrocketing abortion numbers. The appalling situation at present of women being kept in the dark about positive alternatives prior to an abortion, has to end.
It will only end however if enough pressure mounts. Change happens when people show up! We are really counting on you to make an extra special effort to be present this year. It’s going to be an incredible family friendly and impactful event!
Three of the guest speakers at this year’s March for Life are: Barrister and international Human Rights campaigner, Lorcán Price; Senator Sarah O’Reilly of Aontú and Ruth O’Sullivan from Cork, whose video about her abortion story has garnered 170,000 views over the past 10 days on the PLC Facebook page. We’ll be announcing more guest speakers in the coming days!

** The blind singer cancelled for being pro-life
------------------------------------------------------------
Bernarda Brunovic, a blind singer of Swiss-Croatian descent who rose to fame in 2018 as one of the standout performers on The Voice of Germany, was originally slated to perform at the recent M4Music festival in Zurich. However, just one day before her scheduled appearance, festival organisers abruptly dropped her from the bill.
The stated reason? “Safety of the audience and all participants.” The actual reason? Brunovic’s pro-life stance.

** Pope Francis - a steadfast defender of the right-to-life
------------------------------------------------------------
We pay tribute to the life and legacy of Pope Francis (1936–2025) as a steadfast defender of the right-to-life. He spoke up for the value of every life - especially the unborn who are hidden and voiceless.
While he regularly referenced the pro-life issue, more often than not, his remarks didn’t receive the media attention that they deserved.
Some quotes of Pope Francis on the right-to-life:
“Since everything is interrelated, concern for the protection of nature is also incompatible with the justification of abortion.”
“How can we genuinely teach the importance of concern for other vulnerable beings, however troublesome or inconvenient they may be, if we fail to protect a human embryo, even when its presence is uncomfortable and creates difficulties?”
There are “forms of ‘ideological colonization‘… that would place before the reality of life reductive concepts of freedom, for example by vaunting as progress a senseless ‘right to abortion’, which is always a tragic defeat.”
** When the pro-choice argument hits a dead end!
------------------------------------------------------------
Watch this short exchange where the logic of the pro-abortion position wears thin when challenged in the open. While we should refrain from being overly critical of what students say in college debates (as many of them are testing arguments in public for the first time), it is noteworthy how quickly the pro-abortion argument falls apart when challenged in debate settings whether hosted on college campuses or not. It’s no wonder abortion advocates do
everything in their power to avoid openly and transparently debating the issue.
